Is America really so bad though that people want to leave? So many refugees are trying to get into the US now and it's the number one place they choose to go it seems.

So I wonder if all those people want to come in, how bad is it for others wanting to leave...

You'll hear people talking about it all the time, but I think the number of people in America who 1.) to any extent want to leave and 2.) would actually take steps to achieve that is very small indeed. It has happened, though. Mel Gibson's family moved to Australia when he was a kid apparently because they feared the US was becoming hostile to Christians (or some such reason, I don't exactly recall).

Preferably Sweden:

Great urban development

Most tolerant country in the world (half the Bible and most of the Quran are considered hate speech)

Sexually liberated (you'll never hear "I refuse to have sex until I'm married" or "No, I will not do that! It's sodomy and it's evil!")

You can buy alcohol at 7:00am on a Sunday if you want

No bullying or cyberbullying (because of the hate speech laws, and because less than 10% of Swedes are religious)

Abortion is available completely on demand

Cops treat people like human beings, and drugs are legal, so the prison population is entirely white.

Voting is compulsory and unrestricted. If you want to vote by mail at 2:00am, you can.

Sweden also has Conscription. And, as far as I understand, everybody are obliged to become a soldier, even those with autism and/or psychiatric illnesses.

In addition, Sweden has work-duty, meaning you're pretty much treated like cattle in crowded conditions on your way to the Employment Office. Disability is no excuse, as Sweden has officially abolished disability pension back in 2010.

Denmark is on its way on the exact same path.

At least, you Americans don't have conscription.
But again, that's just about the only positive thing I can say about the U.S.

In the U.S. innocent people are placed in a chair and set on fire (electrocution).
They also inject lethal chemicals which induce a lot of pain before death, and they don't mind executing innocents.

I wouldn't want to live in Sweden. It seems a highly homogeneous society in which being obviously foreign would present a serious obstacle, unless you're rich enough that people suck up to you for your money.

BTW my state abolished the death penalty 8 years ago I don't really care if other states still do it as I don't plan to go live in any of those places.

It doesn't matter whether your state "abolished" death penalty. There is a federal death penalty as well.

Well then I suppose we'll just have to pack it in as there's nothing we can do about Federal law.

TBH if there's a Federal death penalty then it's probably mostly in connection with crimes that threaten National Security, so that's not likely to change unless the US decides to de-emphasize the importance of the military. Which actually happened to some extent after the defeat in Vietnam but I don't ever see happening any time soon.

A lot depends on where you live in America.Rural, suburbs or urban.
In rural areas the crime is low, even with high gun ownership.People may be poor in income ,but many own their own land so have no rent.It might be a crappy trailer house ,but it’s theirs’s.They can grow a garden, pick berries ,hunt or fish to save money on groceries.Cut firewood to sell and burn for heat.No water bill if you have a well or spring.Property taxes are lower. No building inspection so you can build what you want in some places.I’ve never seen a homeless person or panhandler in my small town.
My medicine and all medical bills are paid so I can’t complain about that.I also have a medical marijuana card.
I have several guns and they are tools.I’ve had to put down a few sick deer and it was more humane than letting them stagger around dying.
On the downside ,our gas is a bit higher and you will drive a least an hour to get to a hospital.Everything closes after nine so you better not need gas or ciggs.
If you get badly hurt in a remote area you may ride in the air-evac helicopter instead of an ambulance to the hospital.
We have one grocery store so shopping is limited.
The roads can be bad, mine kept sliding off it they finally fixed it.Rural areas have small budgets so it might take awhile to get things fixed.

I live in a small rural town in the deep south myself and I can vouch for all this.

The places where I grew up in rural Kansas and Nebraska are also like that. People from large cities visiting there would go crazy because there is nothing exciting for them to do. My aunt and uncle’s farm is twenty miles from the nearest small town. They can pickup a grand total of three over-the-air channels at their location on a good day, one at best on a bad day. They enquired about getting cable tv once, but the $300/month cost stopped them cold. Most of the local businesses are monopolies and can charge whatever their market price can bear. A gallon of milk can easily cost $5 or more at the one grocery store, so they have cows that they milk instead. You learn to become independent or do without for so many things. Every time I visit them, I feel like I have went back in time at least eighty years.

The country could go to pot and they would not know about it until they went to market with some of their livestock to sell. They live a much simpler way of life.

They probably think the rest of the country has forgotten them and they wouldn't be wrong.

These people need to watch the youtube videos of dawn in the North Korean capital. The errie wake up music is on loud speaker. Traffic is directed by people because they don't have the resources for traffic lights. Looks like a dystopian hellscape.

interesting how amuuuurica has both kinds of people, the ones busting in and the ones in quiet desperation longing to leave, and in 2020 about 10 million of the latter group did indeed pull up stakes and say "sayonara."

Australia used to be a haven, but with the Chinese/ccp threat, I can't think of any place in the world I would want to live in.
If/when China invades Australia, New Zealand will be next, so that isn't a viable solution, either. 8O
Thankfully, I am getting old and don't have any children to worry about.

Sinicization will become the new Chinese equivalent to Anglicisation in a way. Once Western Civilization collapses and China becomes the next dominant world superpower.
