Those who object to a Jewish woman playing Mary may or may not be motivated by deeply-felt antisemitism, but are, in my view, just plain silly.
Anyway, I guess that most people have forgotten about the movie already, and are ready to be offended by the next manufactured outrage. The movie wasn't
that good to begin with.
