So why does the gubbermint spray chemtrails in broad daylight again? For everyone to see?

If you bothered reading the thread you'd see I've already answered that one.

Why else would we be having this discussion?

Maybe - just maybe - some folks are capable of drawing attention to themselves only by asserting theories of freedom-supressing conspiracies; which are so absurd as to provoke right-minded people into posting responses that are based upon fact and reason rather than suspicious imaginings.

There are enough singers and other celebrities out there that will easily find one that in some way references almost any conspiracy theory you like. Scientists and government officials have better things to do than attempt to refute every conspiracy theory out there, so they rarely bother. Plus, they probably (correctly) think that there is nothing anybody can say that will convince most conspiracy theorists that there is no conspiracy.

So.. how does captain camcorder know that one plane is the same height as the other?

I assume .. he does not.. as no-one has yet to offer evidence to the contrary.

Noticeably, I have spent a day or so now watching for trails, con or chem, and despite living less than 8miles from the longest runway in europe, I have seen no evidence of either. In fact, I recall little evidence of any such activity for a good two decades, despite spending that time on or around a major airbase.

First, what evidence is there that these contrails are more common? Is that controlled for the increase in air traffic over the past decades? Are you aware that the airlines are trying to get better fuel mileage, and they are flying higher, where it tends to be colder due to the adiabatic lapse rate?

Head south a bit... we get them all the time in Sussex, I'd say at least once or twice a week. Perhaps they're more noticeable because it's the sunniest part of the country (supposedly). There are always normal contrails because we're under the Gatwick flightpath, but there's also a lot that definitely aren't (other than being 'wrong' in appearance, duration, etc, the planes at Gatwick are always either taking off or coming in to land so they're low enough that you can make out the airline), and there are no other airfields nearby.

What you think about me is irrelevant. What any amateur musician from Canada or the U.K. thinks about me is both irrelevant and immaterial.

Where I live there is one international airport, a military airbase, and five regional airports within 30 miles. At any given time of the day, I can look up and see dozens of contrails at different altitudes and going in any direction. What do I look for? What makes your "chemtrails" so obviously different from contrails?

But if you really don't know, then just say so, and without all the smarmy condescendancy.

I dont hear any anecdotes that people are suppressed from talking about this. Just people that others are. Youtube is no balm. Its just as easy to have videos pulled from there. I'm cautious and more than a little disbelieving of those claims.

Looping? Circling? Two reasons. Training exercises and holding patterns. Abilene is the city, right? There is a major airport right nearby. Intermittent contrails? Mid air engine restarts are part of flying lessons.

Some of those look like search patterns. There are two main types of search patterns. One makes a grid, the other is a spiral outwards from a central point.

Why do it over a city? Because there are actually people on the ground. You cannot learn that by flying over wilderness. You fly over an area, look down and see a face and think "Ok, thats what a person looks like from this height".

It makes the best sense to find mundane explanations. IF those dont hold up, then you can look deeper.

Trouble with all this is that there is just no science to back up chemtrail claims. The video that SW posted has got to be one of the lamest conspiracy vids I have ever seen. It is really easy to get flight details for an area, if they had bothered to do this and could confirm some of the claims I might start to listen. On the face of it it does seem odd that the planes criss cross like that but not knowing why does not equal lacing the fuel with mind altering chemicals.

Lets say that the claims are true, spraying from that height is totally indiscriminate and would conceivably affect those in the know, so either they don't care, are really stupid, or have taken some kind of prophylactic. If chemicals are being released with the aim of them affecting the population then surely a half decent scientist would be able to set up underneath and collect samples.

Instead of using the most rudimentary of scientific method these nutjobs with a camcorder just make assumptions of a phenomenon they do not understand.

Not sure what musicians have to do with anything, let alone why they'd have any opinion of you?

And chemtrails look different. They're thicker, they're denser, they last a long time (as in, hours and hours... yes, some contrails can last a while and fan out into cirrus clouds but these ones don't), they often have greasy chemical smears through them... you'll know when you see them. I get a lot of normal contrails in my area too, but they aren't the ones we're talking about. You should know them when you see them.

And I've already said I don't know why they do them or what they're for or who's behind them. The only one being smarmy and condescending is you.



Fuzzy, good points and things to bear in mind a lot of the time, it can certainly explain a lot of them. But they don't account for all the trails by a long shot, and that's the problem. I'd love nothing more than for the normal contrail explanation to be the one that explains it all, I really would, but it just doesn't and that's the issue.
