College course opinion pushing
I'm taking a course at college, physical anthropolgy. But, the peculier thing, is, that the course material bashes on religous beliefs such as christianisty, and creationism. And, anyone/thing that feels like it's pushing an opinion on me, well, generally pisses me off.
What's conflicting though, is, the opinion being pushed is one I also share (I'm not anti religious, just not personally)....so, should I still be aggrivated? I think so...not sure, initially I was as soon as my opinion sensors went off...but, not so sure after rationalizing it.
And, besides, even if it was wrong, pissed me off, and I tried to do something about it...nothing would happen anyway.
Any thoughts about this? Like, should I just shut up and play nice?

I think it's a sign of a bad teacher when they can take something that takes creationism and superstition out for lunch then never calls it again (like science, reason and logic does) and make it sound like a biased opinion. Though on a more even handed note I think there's an argument to be had in that science belongs to the domain of Knowledge and faith to the domain of Truth, creationism tries to cross the border one way and fails and science isn't equipped to comment on the domain of Truth. (okay, that could be a lot better and I probably haven't fully understood what I've been reading).
