well like it says he needed the light so he could see what he was doing. how do you expect god to create the sun in the dark?

Since this was a first time experiment God had no idea that it took the Sun to make the light. As with any miracles, He did whatever He damned pleased and made the light and for some unexplained reason made the Sun. It's obvious that the Sun has nothing whatsoever to do with sunlight and that should be discovered as soon as scientists get over their foolish assumptions.
