Cute. Now that the right wing douche bags are out of power, they are getting creative.

10 points if you can tell me who was the head of FEMA when Katrina hit New Orleans

another 10 if you can tell me who gave him the job and what connected the two people

star prize if you can tell me what his one and only job was before the gig at FEMA

yeah, I'm not a fan of either but nepotism isn't the reserve of just the one party in the US

It was Brownie...a former master of horse...;) He was doing a 'heckuva job'...;)

I've heard the President has appointed more Czars than the Rumanovs...;)

They can hate us as long as they fear us (sounds cooler in Latin...;)

The Horse Whisper. He got a tip. Katrina in the fifth.

And you are right, cronyism has been the bane of American politics going all the way back to Andrew Jackson.

They don't even know how many czars there are. I've heard at least 30 and up to to 60 with the number generally being reported as being around 45. W had 12 for his whole presidency. I don't think it's even a partisan issue really, Obama is pushing the power of the executive branch by circumventing the constitution like this.

Except that the "czars" have no real executive authority. They merely act in advisory roles, and leaders have always had advisers in order to make sure someone is devoting enough time to understanding an issue and coming up with good suggestions.

EDIT: I just listened to that video. The producer badly needs a sense of pitch.

That's up for debate. Like I said, the administration won't even admit to how many there are let alone what they do. Hardly a new era of transparency. When guys like Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, John Holdren, ect. are appointed it makes it even more concerning.

Better than having known Israeli spies advise the president on war issues and also serve as number two at Defense.
