Extraordinary. You admit that your opinion that Nick Griffin is “wrong” is based on prejudice, since you have never heard him speak, then proclaim that you know he is wrong anyway.
By the way, maybe you could tell us all what it was you found so amusing on the BNP website?
No. I think anti immigration is wrong because I know a lot of political philosophy, and on the basis that Nick Griffin is anti immigration I'm going to call him wrong. However, it is possible that Nick Griffin might have something to put into the debate, hence he needs his time to speak, but given that hundreds of years of philosophy have not been able to give good answers, I suspect neither will Nick Griffin.
As for the BNP website, during the June 4th campaign they had:
Ridiculous. As for content wise, they had some almost conspiracy stuff about how they would not get in power now but when global resources ran out they could have a chance and there role today was to pave the way. The website has changed since June 4th, that information no longer seems to be there. Put 'BNP oil' into google and the first link that comes up was it, although it now just goes to the main web page. Suffice to say it was also ridiculous.
Haven't seen the debate, might tomorrow, so maybe Griffin may yet overturn hundreds of years of philosophical developments.
