ingushetia and dagestan arent separate wars

theyre all part of the chechen war. chechen rebels venture out of chechnya/ingushetia, mainly cus its a geographically smallish area, and theyve got their sights on a larger area.

its one conflict. the ossetian is a separate one, also taking place in georgia.

I have to wonder how much of the natural gas pipeline is going through there - a good stretch or perhaps just an L bend?
