What would you say to him? I personally would say that he belongs in Hell, and that 1,000 years in a pit would do him good.

I would like to psychoanalyze him.

I would like to ask why he did what he did. I mean, seriously, it seems that he must either be insane, or that God isn't as perfect as it is claimed.

I have, and she's exceedingly callous, cold and cruel in nature.

Or he is part of the perfect God's plan to eliminate faulty products in the same manner of any manufacturer to throw away the products that don't come up to snuff. Burning them in hell must have something to do with the heating system in heaven.

I think the usual explanation is hubris/ambition. Similar to the Tower of Babel incident.

Or perhaps a concession made by religious scholars that something has to be made to explain the consistent misery in the world.

I would ask her why God was so pissed at her, because I (barring the fact I disbelieve in Lucifer in the first place) don't believe the bible told the entire story about lucifer anymore than it told the entire story about most anything. Honestly, I would be surprised to find out Lucifer is completely evil because I'm much more inclined to believe that God was just being his normal vengeful, insecure and childish persona.

That said, if that's how it was, I'd probably get into a deep conversation with her followed by asking if I could join her in her pursuit of the downfall of God and his incredible vengeful sadistic arrogance, and promotion of intelligence and knowledge.

Since Satan is obviously a Christian version of the ancient god Pan he represents the disdained free libido and was consigned to roast since he represents the original sin of Adam discovering the joys of reproduction with Eve. The guy is surely a porn master and doing quite well. A conversation could be rather amusing.

He is ambitious and arrogant enough to ignore the fact that he is going to have to oust from power an omnipotent being??? That seems ridiculous to posit, and the only way I can even see this being justified is if God is somehow unclear, the issue is that this undercuts God's authority there.

No, it really isn't similar. In one case we have a relatively ignorant post-fall humanity, and in the other case we have an extremely knowledgeable pre-fall Satan. Post-fall people are supposed to be filled with evil urges, but a pre-fall angel?? Well... I don't see why they would be different than any other angel, and angels being that they are created for the task of angelry should have angelic desires as well I would think.

I'd ask him how he feels about Apple outsourcing their tech support to his domain.

Also, "Hey, liking the heat?"

I agree with the 2nd sentence but the 1st sentence is waaaaaaaaaay off. Lucifer was expelled from heaven because he questioned divine authority. THAT my friends, is the moral of the biblical story of Satan.
