Ok, this started popping up in the thread by Master_Pedant for Progressive Leftists, but I assume he wouldn't want his thread swamped with something moderately off-task. (Maybe he wouldn't mind too much, as this is PPR)

In any case, here is the test:
http://www.moral-politics.com/xpolitics.aspx?menu=Home

Take it, and see how you do on it:

I scored
-2.5 on Moral Order and -6.5 on Moral Rules.

I am guessing that what alters my score the most is that I took stances considered "conformist" on the issue of success and nature, and in this I disagree with the test, as those questions test independence more than conformity from how I interpret them.

But right, it says that I am a progressive neoliberal.

I scored -3.5 on Moral Order and 2 on Moral Rules.

The main reason I assume mine was so off was because I put none of the above was the most accurate answer on five questions. Oh well. Thanks for the link. I was curious about it.

-2 on moral order, 3 on moral rules. Apparently I fall within "socialism" as a "social democrat" without matching any US party but I'm supposed to like Carter and Obama. Go figure.

Moral order is more of a measure of how conservative you are. So, if you have a positive score, you are conservative and if you have a negative score, then you are socially liberal.

Moral rules is a measure of how individualistic you are on issues. Negative means that you are very individualistic in terms of who is responsible for what. Positive means that you see society, the group, and other similar things as more responsible, such as for ensuring the welfare of beings within society.

So, your score suggests that you are a moderate on issues of conservatism, but very very much in favor of individualism in terms of handling a number of issues, such as finances, charity, etc.

When I clicked 'Hint' what showed up was much different than what I interpreted the statements to mean. Most of my answers would have been completely different had I not clicked 'Hint'.

You scored 0 on Moral Order and -5 on Moral Rules. Conservative/Libertarian.

I disagree with this, though I am conservative. I would have never voted for Kerry or Obama, and Ford didn't represent my view's either. Maybe Andrew Jackson, Lincoln, and JFK instead.

Could you put the Moral Rules and Moral Order numbers, if you still have them? They are in some sense more informative than the information you gave, in that the information you gave is contingent upon those numbers.

My apologies, I've already exited out of it. Though I was on the line though I think of Conservative and Liberal.. though I'm not a moderate, my view's stem from Libertarianism, and Conservative. Not neo-liberal/conservative..

It labeled me as pretty authoritarian too, which is somewhat odd as I tend to be opposed to government involvement in most things. There are a few random problems with the questions and ambiguity, for example it could ask you an "ought" question but remain nebulous as to how the ideal state of affairs should be reached.
