In the game of Chess, you go around a sand-boxed battlefield wantonly and determinately killing people and horses and castles, oh my!! !

Killing is EVIL. In the game Chess you go around killing, therefore chess is EVIL!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!! !!

To add to that, strategies usually require the killing of people, so strategies are usually evil too!! !

Let's not even start about CHECKERS!! !!

Forget the "666" numerology. The pieces may just be captured, but they are held in POW camps and tortured slowly and painfully while the game goes on without them!! ! Evil!! !!

In that case, I think chess should be banned from earth. Any person who plays will suffer in equal proportions to the pow chess pieces.

Rooks crushing horses is the cruelest aspect of the game. Other than the violent nature of the game, it's pretty sexist too. A f***ing queen can just move around as far as possible straight and diagonally like her s*** doesn't stink, while a king is pretty much just a poor bastard waiting to be assassinated?

You are ALL wrong. It's OBVIOUS to anyone with good sense that the evils of chess PALES in comparison with backgammon. NOTHING of a board game nature promotes promiscuity, unprotected sex, and unwanted pregnancy quite like it. It's surge in popularity during the "Roaring 20's" and 1960's is clear and undeniable evidence that backgammon, NOT chess, is the true scourge of modern-day society.
