I would call myself a modern liberal. My views and outlooks on life are very much modern, I don't like old fashioned values and rules.

Hmm... your spectrum seems incomplete, as you lack "moderate", "authoritarian", and a few other possibilities AS people might fall into.

Agreed. I'm more of a political moderate...a lot of my views are Democrat, but on a few issues I'm Republican.

Left-libertarian, with more emphasis on the 'libertarian' than the 'left'.

I suppose modern liberal/progressive is closest to me...

I'm more of an independent thinker with a liberal lean. I'm socially liberal, but fiscally conservative.

Socially, I'm far left.
Economically, i was far left... starting to question some of it on sustainability.

But in lieu of the knowledge that nothing is sustainable except anarchy and totalitarianism I'll remain far left in my support until a better alternative comes up.

I believe most of my beliefs fall in lieu with that of the liberal progressives of early 1900's America and those of today.

I'm surprised that the conservatives outnumber the socialists in here.

Oh, and I'm pretty far left. Not a Marxist, maybe a Chavezite (although I have problems with elements of his foreign policy)
