He saved Australia, but at the cost of destroying her individuality and turning her into a chum-bucket of the worst of the culture of the United States.
Kevin Rudd realised this situation and sought to change it; the Central Intelligence Agency of the USA decided that Rudd had to go. So, they orchestrated PSY-OPS operations to depose Rudd in favour of a weaker leader, Julia Gillard, who will no doubt be replaced by Tony Abbott, a leader who, like John Howard of the Coalition before, would fit the machinations of the Clerical Fascism of the United States.
But despite the megalomaniacal views of the American elites, they will not last forever. Their country may very well soon collapse, in view of Wall St, indecision on Deepwater Horizon, etc.
Thus, Australia must begin to determine its own destiny. The democratic process cannot achieve this; it is part of the American power bloc. Thus, a revolution or a military coup may be necessary, but the government to be instated must be one willing to make Australia into a power of its own (including acquistions of Australian nuclear weaponry and terminating our end of the ANZUS treaty), not just technologically, financially and militarily, but also culturally, destroying the rampant discrimination dividing the various cultural-ethnic segments of Modern Australia but also creating a new culture, to put an end to the majoritarian Australian's barbarous "culture" that emerged as a slurry replacement of what could have been before Curtin sold us out to the Americans; indeed, it would have been better had we fought a heroic last stand against the Japanese Empire by ourselves; though we would have been surely exterminated we would have retained our honour as a people and a nation!
For if we do not, before the United States goes down, the long-delayed takeover by powers such as Indonesia, likely with the backing of China, will occur, and those who cannot flee will likely be exterminated.
But even that kind of extermination is preferable, in my mind, to the utter subjection to the United States of America the nation of Australia suffers. A subjection all the more evil, because it is on the surface pleasant and it makes us fat and happy; as per the American's aim for this nation, as they wish to keep sending our soldiers to die in pointless wars that in the end only America would benefit from.

How exactly were you sold out to the yanks at the end of WW2 and what evidence is there of a CIA operation to depose this Rudd chap? Bear in mind that American "culture" is quite pervasive world-wide, why do you consider that it is more of a plot than pervading the UK or Russia?
