We cannot let this attack on our character stand.

Someone made a movie out of the whole War on Christmas thing? And it's not a comedy?

I have to admit, I laughed anyway.

I'm an atheist, and I love Christmas. It was a pagan holiday before the Christians hijacked it, anyway.

Image We must add it's emotional and cultural distinctiveness to our own.

That's what I was thinking. I was hoping for more explosions and car chases.

It's got a Baldwin and Jefferson from Married...With Children.

Actually it is still a pagan holiday. Compare Christmas today with the ancient pagan ritual. You'll see the two are virtually identical, save the name.

Naive Christians making a cheesy movie over the idiotic oversensitive response on what tolerance means?

America, I would almost pray for you!

What a dumb looking movie. They should either allow all seasonal icons on public land, or non. Not just one religion. Namely, christianity. And why are they getting upset? It's not like they aren't allowed to celebrate christmas in other ways, why is having a manger scene so important to people?

It's kind of a dumb holiday.

Allowing atheists to be represented by a Baldwin.

For the first sixty seconds I thought it was a comedy, albeit a very unsubtle one.

ThinkAtheist commentor James has some pretty pertinent thoughts:

James wrote:
My friend, is this movie out for veiwing? I could not tell from the IMBd website. Perhaps this film will only make it as far as the Hallmark channel (one can hope)? Where were the other religious minorities that just might agree with sending JC packing for the winter - or is it to be understood that they were previously moved from the town because of their less than fair skin color? And where were the atheist's guns? Where were the burning crosses? Where were the scenes where the atheist's are raping women and burning churches and preaching evolution in town square? Obviously we have work to do if we are to maintain our proper immoral image!

"Christmas is the only time the entire world has this shared experience."

Is this supposed to be self-parody? It seems so bloody campy that I'd be sure it's satire were it not for Daniel Baldwin's appearance.

It's not worse than the conformist liberal crap we usually hear from you.
