Yeah I saw his on the news earlier, it's the Chinese protester right? Or did he just sign the thing saying the government needed reform? Either way, good on him :)

Good for them, honoring a courageous activist for greater liberty while simultaneously giving a major authoritarian government the finger is a rare and wonderful thing. This almost makes up for last years non-award; at least the recipient of that year's prize used this year's as an entry to verbally slap the PRC around a bit on their record.

Well, not everything is so bad, but it seems like the people awarding the peace prize have managed to stir up a hornet's nest. Hopefully no violence will ensue.
