Ashleigh Banfield is a truly inspirational journalist. During the Iraq War she gave a speech about the workings of the media. This, for some reason, was eregious to the "ultraliberal" network, which in turn set her career back a decade using dirty tactics (she's been lowered to working for trashy, almost reality TV style outlets like Court TV). She's on ABC now, but clearly in a function much lower than she'd have been had MSNBC not set back her career with such heavy-handed tactics.
