It may be a bit weaselly, which I'll readily admit to, but in order to accommodate both my glee that Ward Churchill got fired and my belief in unrestricted free speech, I like to think that he was fired for being a flaming as*hole. It's similar to how I feel about Fred Phelps and the WBC, yes they can say whatever they want wherever they want; they're just being unbelievable jerks about it.
