Is pgd trying to gauge how literal minded people with Asperger's are, and if so is he a layman or a person treating us like guinea pigs for a class research project? Or is pgd actually serious in the bizarre nonsensical questions of his multiple similarly themed pointless threads which have been created in a short amount of time?

This section is pretty wide open from how it is worded (my view).

Politics, Philosophy, and Religion
Religion is the state of being grasped by an ultimate concern. Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it, misdiagnosing it, and then misapplying the wrong remedies. Philosophy is just a hobby. You can't open a philosophy factory. Discuss Religion, Politics, and Philosophy here.

The questions I've asked are all a little different; they are not identical.

They are simply questions, nothing more.

Again, you sound to me like a troll and a censor. I also feel you're a jerk to highlight a user's name the way you have done. It very bad manners and wrong (my view).

Sorry, you're a troll and jerk in my view.

Maybe he's just having a serious crisis of faith?
Maybe he's just trying to lighten up things here in PPR?

OR.... Maybe he's trying to indirectly get at a point, something I often do. If you ask a question that is logically the same as another different question, you tend to get less biased answers.
In this case, he could simply be asking questions, intended to make people think about a certain issue, which in turn will make them question the broader, core issue. I don't think he's doing a good job, mind you, but I suspect that's his goal.

Are you serious about your questions or is this for a research project or are you trying to play a game?

The multiple threads from pgd are pointless, but so is a thread specifically to attack him. If it bothers you so much, just download greasemonkey and hide his posts. That way you won't have to see his threads.

Those are other possibilities, certainly.

What points is it that he would likely be trying to make a stab at with questions such as:

Actually, my point in this thread is to create awareness of the possibility of being used as guinea pigs in a laboratory. He may be serious, or facetious, but another member's mention of this in pgd's thread about the angel gabriel being an alien clicked with me. It seems to make the most sense to me that these questions are not serious but are instead a form of baiting so as to gauge the responses of those on this website, particularly the diagnosed members although if he's a student then he'd have different columns rating the responsivity to absurdness or whatever the heck other label. I don't know for certain though. It's doubtful that he would admit to this, especially if he were trying to use Wrong Planet as a laboratory. But what do you think Orwell? How likely is this possibility versus that of just being facetious or even somehow being serious?

Neither confirming or denying. Interesting.

If you care to think about it, I'm not arguing that you be censored. The title of the thread is sounding that way because it was all I could think of that would fit in the character limit of the title, and I made the OP consistent because I hate inconsistency. Perhaps I am a jerk, please deal with it by giving me the silent treatment all you want to, as I actually hate being replied to by those who are antagonistic towards me anyway, so it is not bothersome if you actually do keep your word.

Are you asking an autistic to offer an explanation of human behavior?

If it's some kind of experiment, it's a lousy one. I think we can reject that explanation for being needlessly complicated. He might just be baiting people and trying to stir something up, or he might be sincere. We've had crazier people on here before.

Perhaps it is too complicated. But also, human behavior itself, and the thoughts which produce it, are complicated also. IDK though.

Even if his questions were genuine, I doubt there's any necessity to create multiple threads. His threads should have been restricted to one or two at most.

First of all; Pgd is not breaking any rules even if his topics are stupid and pointless.

I'm afraid that was me. I didn't mean to imply that Pgd was conducting a research project though, only baiting other members for amusement which is not all that uncommon in PPR.

Since Makuranososhi was demodded, moderators rarely come here so we might have to moderate ourselves. In that light, Iamnotaparkeet's question might have some merit.

I think there is something about creating duplicate threads. Technically he hasn't done so, but he is certainly violating the spirit, if not necessarily the letter, of that rule.

Why don't I ever hear about these things until months after?

He got banned by Alex for calling Alex out on some stuff on the board (ie, Alex breaking his own rules). I still talk to him on IM occasionally.

And when he runs out of topics, he runs out of topics. He doesn't seem to display any outright problems. Weird topics, yes...but nothing wrong with that.
