Why America's birthrates are so low

I have heard many people, especially those with mildly racist leanings, complain about how low the birthrates are among Americans.
These people fear that one day America will become overpopulated with foreigners, but I think that these people are missing the point.

The reason that the American birthrate is so low compared to other countries is that Americans are essentially the Alpha Male in control of the world. The reason we depend so much on foreign labor is because other countries are essentially our slaves, and I have always believed that it is the duty of a slave to serve his master without complaint. I find it amusing, however, that we, their masters, complain about the presence of the people that are our slaves, or demand that only people from our own country or of our own race should be working in or for our country. This, to me, is counterintuitive. Imagine how poorly ancient Rome would have functioned if the citizens had outnumbered the slaves.

Rather than complain about the presence of those whose purpose in the current hierarchy is to serve us, we should allow them to serve us as is their intended natural duty, rather than create a system in which they are unable to.

Ironically, this is also the same reason that social egalitarianism is a terrible idea: a master should not put his slaves on the same level that he is on, or else he will have no one to serve him without suffering innumerable losses.

I don't think that the USA has the world's lowest birthrate.

The US's birthrates aren't that low and it's not declining. It's actually higher than pretty much every other developed country in the world.

Yes but that is mostly thanks to millions of illegal Mexicans.

In fact the birthrate in every Western country has dropped below replacement level. Russia's population is dropping by hundreds of thousands a year.

So Europe is importing millions upon millions of people from Africa and other third world areas, most of whom cannot speak English (or German or French) and they have never worn shoes or seen a flush toilet.

These people are supposed to replace the children we didn't bother to have. They are to be the doctors and engineers and businessmen and scientists of the next generation. Don't make me laugh.

I hope you like Sharia law because Europe will be over 50% Muslim within 50 years.

Go try being a slave, then tell me if this view holds through the experience.

I dunno, I always thought the birth rate was so low because raising kids is too expensive. Food, clothes, education, etc. A lot of people simple cannot afford to raise a kid. That's just my opinion though.

NO. Immigration bolsters your population growth but the subject was birth rate-not population growth per se.

The USA does have a high birthrate compared to other industrialized countries and its stays above replacement rate.
This happens for an interesting reason. Its because of Americas abnormally high rate of teenage pregnancy! We lead the industrialized world in teen pregnacies and thats what keeps our overall birthrate a notch higher than other industrialized countries and a little bit above replacement rate. So lets give a patriotic thankyou to all of our unwed teen welfare moms!

Well, I think it is time to say it. Everyone hates babies. Everyone. As long as you bring access to contraception and abortion, most people will not, for the love of god, ever have babies. Nobody really wants a baby and as long as there was a way to avoid it, it will be avoided.

And unfortunately, you can't have children or new humans without having babies. But we hate babies. So population will drop. Good riddance though.

That is horse crap. My wife and I made 4 children, everyone of them welcome and wanted.

You love your children. But you hate babies. You hated your children when they were babies. And it is normal because babies are awful creatures that everyone hates.

You really wanted children and went through the hated hassle of having babies in hopes you can exchange them with children one day. But only so much people like children enough to overcome their hatred of babies, you are the minority.

Horse crap. We loved our children when they were infants and we loved them grown up and at all stages in between. And starting with an infant one can actually see intelligence emerge. Infants can grow a mind and a language in under two years.
