Is it possible to change a slice of barley bread into God by simply announcing (using a stage actor's voice) saying this barley bread is the actual body of God - no questions allowed?

why with the barley bread? surely a loaf of challah would be a more suitable vessel. i tried it with a slice of pepperidge farm raisin bread and nothing. had i not toasted and buttered it first, who knows?

The bread was invoked during passover. The the Body of Christ is pita or some kind of unleavened bread.

Which is why Christianity is a crumby religion.

my one and only attempt at logic- god is "all that is," so the loaf of bread would seem to be part of god. anything which is part of god has some god in it. now my brain hurts. ow.

Fish sticks and barley loaves topic

I also remember some news story that the virgin mary's image was seen in a cooked-from-frozen-baked fish steak, beer battered, maybe from Highliner (TM) Foods.

Why are religious relics now relegated to items commonly found in a grocery store? And now made from organic whole grains! 8)

Ofcourse you can! everything is possible

No questions allowed will begin to smell like a hoax though, I guess his "body" too in a couple of days exposed to the elements.

it's much less disturbing than actual catholic reliquary.
