Is Nathaniel Hawthorne's book, The Scarlet Letter, applicable to Daystar TV today? Or is the solution for Daystar TV to simply promote polygamy (as Mormonism has done) as a way around the conflict of interest which faces Daystar today - where the founder, an ordained Christian minister, admitted to a seven year affair with a Daystar employee? What do the 10 Commandments say about such a situation? Can former President Bill Clinton, a known Bible thumper, enter the picture as a political advisor to Daystar TV as to how to fix things there in Texas and still keep one's job? Do Christians today - 2010 - care whether their Pope (so to speak) adheres to traditional Christian values or not? Are Christians living in a new era of modern Christianity (2010) where almost anything goes and all is forgiven and no one loses their job over hiding child crimes or committing adultery? Is modern Christianity today (2010) at its very highest levels a farce?
