Is God only an imaginary Superhero like Superman and Batman? Except God is described as living in the general neighborhood of Israel/Egypt (10 Commandments) and Superman and Batman tend to live (according to their stories/gospels/superherospells) in the general neighborhood of New York City?

i usually refer to jesus as the most popular imaginary friend ever, but not when various members of my family or professional community are listening.

No.

God and Jesus are not superheroes. Jesus lived and breathed and walked this earth, for one thing. Maybe you all need to do some actual research. Go read the Bible.

There is a great deal of doubt by many historians about the existence of Jesus. God, of course is a laughable concoction to frighten the gullible. Superman and Batman are also imaginary but lots more fun and with a much more humane set of morals.

Neither Superman nor Batman are gods.
