Every year late in Summer, when kids prepare to return to school, the ones who can afford go school shopping. What have you, a Kmart, Wal-Mart, or even an office supply store, the student may pick up a supply list PTAs print every year. Notoriously, a staple for many school supply lists is the Kleenex. A little side note, Kleenex suffers the same fate as Putt-Putt by being commonly confused with the actual item, a tissue in this case. Come to think of it, it basically monopolized both companies so I wouldn't call it a fate. Back on topic now. As a child, I was virtually afeared of the tissue. It always gave me a burn on my nose for some reason. I very rarely used a tissue as a child. I remember I had a nosebleed in the 5th grade and finally did use one. But though I had my reservations against them, I was required every year to bring two boxes I knew I would never use. And another thing, there are other tissue companies. I am always enraged when PTAs blatantly disregard the other companies. Kleenex should have a deal out of this.

So I buy the Kleenex and I buy all the other inane items I may or may not use throughout the year. Lo and behold, I get to class, and what does the teacher say? Here's a synopsis.

Teacher: Hand over the Kleenex.
Me: What?
Teacher: Hand them to me now!
Me: But they're mine.
Teacher: No they aren't. They're all of our's.

Being the idiot kid I once was, I handed them over. If I had half the mind I do now, I would have told the b***h to f**k off.

Now, it's a point to argue. I guess if it came down to it, the teacher really wouldn't care if I contested her demands for Kleenex. Now, I don't even think I have a supply list.

It just angers me. As a child, they'll have you caught in their lies and deceits, and even the parent is going along for the ride. We must reveal this deception which has monopolized Kleenex among tissue providers and liberate the parents. No longer shall we spend five more dollars for something our children won't use. It's painful to see how many people just buy it as if nothing else. It is something else. It's something I've used maybe 4 times in my life.

[quote="Wikipedia"}
A Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a voluntary organisation bringing together parents and teachers of pupils in a particular school, usually for fund-raising and other activities relating to the welfare of the school rather than the progress of individual pupils.[/quote]

Idiot Socialists. Just idiots. Who really gives a ****? I don't care about all those other stupid kids. I only care about myself. One major defense of the stapled Kleenex requirement is that, "Poor Susie over there can't afford Kleenex (name brand) because her parents are bums!" Well if some school mandate is going to demand that I share my Kleenex, she can start by working it off.

Now, we will discuss the injustices of the school supply list. We will brainstorm solutions to this issue and perhaps take legal action against the PTA. We will also protest at our local elementaries, pass out flyers, or even become official picketers. This social injustice cannot go on any longer. It must be stopped!
