God bless you, Mr. Vonnegut. (I wonder how many non-Vonnegut readers won't get that reference).
Kurt, as almost always, was right. In all honesty, I never even considered Vonnegut's interpretation of Marx's quote of religion being the opiate of the people.
skafather84, you and Vonnegut have made me take a step that much closer to becoming a high hearted socialist, as it's all the more apparent to me that socialism and Christ are not exclusive.

Jesus did tell a young man to give away or sell all his own property.

Early Christians practiced a form of communal living, the Agape.
