We could let a few NTs in...I suppose.
(After extreme testing/some dissecting may also be necessary)

I'm thinking Chad...to begin with.

Bad, BAD, BAD idea. Have you seen the political discussions on here? The country would immediately split into two camps of libertarians and socialists. Just because Aspies have common problems doesn't mean we could actually agree on anything.

Hmmm... black and white aspie thinking manifested as a societal division, that's very interesting.

I don't think we could get enough women in our own country.

Plus the socialists would make all kinds of laws that the libertarians would ignore.

Maybe I'm being a bit extreme. But I still think that Aspies tend to be too argumentative to ever form a functional state of their own. Not that that hasn't stopped me from speculating about that in the context of a science fiction story I want to write but probably never will...

But maybe the libertarian socialists would bridge the middle? :P

Politics? We could leave it out and trust that the people in our country won't do stupid things.

Then our Government can work on growth.

I think I stopped making snese.

We do find the extremes in the PPR section, so yes. But still, aspies aren't naturally very good at relating to others... that's part of the condition.

Could the OP for the stake of the discussion play the Devil's advocate with this idea.
As I'm curious to understand the rational behind it, also it would help if you could expand on your idea.

THAT WOULD BE F**KING SWEET

for a book, I propose PPR builds the plot using members for character inspiration. Should the environmental be post apocalyptic or modern(or something else?)?

I would say the modern would let us track the response of the rest of the world, but the post apocalyptic would allow us to focus on interaction between the characters as well as giving us less variables to work with, while also eliminating worrying about a significant;y superior military force baring shenanigans.

"Should we start our own country?"

Smacks of nationalism!! !! 8O
Too many people here get wrapped around the axle over nationalism in favour of one big happy global community.
But I guess if the creation of such a nation benefited them it might be different.
Guess it all just depends on which side of the bread your butter is on............

How about, rather, I start my own empire and you all will be included within it once your solar system is conquered.

I think there have been between 10 to 30 threads of this type.

Since this poster just joined today and is a self-described "noob", I think we should excuse some wheel-reinvention. It seems to be a relatively common fantasy among a certain segment of the Asperger's community.
