So I see a probably partisan thread addressed to kxmode [I got censured when I addressed a thread to - I think - Awesomely Glorious, but you have to be on the list of people it is okay to censure].

So I click and as I click, I say, "Please God, let it NOT be a video,.

AND - it's a video.

It may make a serious point that needs to be addressed - one I might support ar oppose,

I'll never know. 99 and 44/100ths percent of the time videos in PPR are too much time work for too little usable content.

Sorry, Charlie. Rejection does not necessarily imply lack of merit.

Come on, our buddy KX mode isn't a troll, he's only telling us about his beliefs.

I think it is misdirected. The video is about Baptists, and KXMode is a Jehovah's Witness. The video is mighty long.

What does it say about Batists [and which Baptists, there are different sorts and the Conservative Baptists - THEIR name for themselves - are NOT the Southern Baptists etc.]?

Some doctrines of SOME Baptists are not so far from SOME Jehovian doctrines.

Even if you show a measure of contempt towards me and my beliefs I don't hate any of you. I forgive all of you.

I do not need your "forgiveness".

The Watchtower organization has claimed to be the prophet of God, yet it has made numerous false prophecies. The excuse given for their false prophecies has been to quote Proverbs 4:18, which says, "But the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established." Whether or not the "light gets brighter" or not, does not change the fact that the Watchtower made false prophecies. The Bible says in Deut. 18:20-22, "‘However, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. And in case you should say in your heart: "How shall we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken?" When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak..."

> Link to a comprehensive listing of The Failed Prophecies of The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

If the New World Translation (NWT) condemns false prophesying and states that it is proof that God is not speaking through that prophet, then doesn’t this prove that the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society is not speaking for God?

Shouldn't the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society disband itself under the Law of Deuteronomy 18:20-22?

Or is that yet another of the "Inconvenient Truths" that Jehovah's Witnesses collectively choose to ignore?

Everybody needs forgiveness. I tell you from personal experience, never turn down forgiveness or prayer.

You remind me of someone once did me a dumptruck load of dirt. Eventually called to apologize to me. I start to say, I forgive you" - she snaps, "I'm just apologizing, I don't want forgiveness."

Ahh ... but I did not ask to be forgiven, nor have I committed a "forgivable" offense.

Now, about those false prophesies ... KXmode, would you care to address those, please?

You do not always need to ask to be forgiven. I have forgiven many people, some of whom - like you - were unaware they had done anything offensive.

Thank God Herself will forgive me generally when I do things that I do not know are offensive.

I am working on forgiving you for some of the ways you have offended me.

The fact someone is right in his own eyes does not mean he is not doing something bad - READ your Bible, you do not have to believe in God or in THAT god to get the points ,made. Shuckins, read Simpson and Sampson. Think about the decent do-gooders who offend YOU [do NOT try to tell me nobody offends you!]

Ask some of your evangelical acquaintances their opinion of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

I can assure you that the word "cult" will be employed in a disparaging way.

OK, you forgive me. But you do have to admit there are a lot of overlapping parallels between the IBF and the JWs in their internal politics, right?

KXmode? Hello? Is this thing on?

Is it just me, or has anyone else ever noticed that when challenged with facts, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Catholics, and Christians all seem to disappear or to simply ignore the facts themselves?

Yes. But the Baptists will still be happy to tell you that the JWs are completely wrong.
