One of the major ways to make a persuasive argument is to use supporting evidence that those you wish to persuade may find credible.

To say that Glenn Beck is a clown is an insult to clowns. Rowan Atkinson has more talent in his left eyebrow than Beck does in his whole body. And yet Beck is clearly just a clown acting out the farce that his master has requested.

I suggest that you find a source who has never been a morning shock jock.

I was going to post PolitiFact.com's debunking of this, but I assumed you would dismiss it as liberal propaganda or something.

I wasn't refuting the point, I wasn't trying to argue, I was just sharing my thoughts on Glenn Beck, I actually agree that Cash for clunkers is a waste of money, does not help the auto industry in the long run, and is a tremendous waste of perfectly good used cars.

I actually agree with Glenn beck on many issues. But he's nuts.

Well looks like I won this, because the best you all have came up with is a video of out of context snippets designed to mock someone. You all better hope Jory posts up a source cause at least that way you have the start of an argument.

Cash for Clunkers ended a long time ago. I wasn't ready to buy at the time, or I would have cashed in.

They probably fixed it now after it ended up on Glenn Beck's show. That segment is well over a year old, so the government would have had time to change their site.

I have to ask - how is posting a clip from a "clown" a considers a reasonable source any more absurd than posting a clip from a practicing comedian that B thinks does a cute job of mocking something?

I cannot watch any of them and if I could would not take either as a prime source for data, must less analysis.

But I do not see that there is a difference.
