according to DANA MILBANK of the washington post "Glen is the leading purveyor of anti-Semitic memes in the mass media"
so is he the man to fix Israel.

Can you point me to a set of facts that back up Milbank's statement?

I am annoyed when the Fundies root for Israel. I detest their motives. Jesus ain't coming until all the Jews are gathered in the Holy Land so they say. With friends like that, I don't need enemies.

Notice to Christians: Jesus is not coming back while I live. Why? I am not going to Israel.

But, as I understand Mormon theology, American Indians also count as Jews. Do they have to go to Israel, too?

correct me if im wrong(I heard this second hand) but i think they think they're the new jews or the carriers of the covanent between israel and God, the new temple will be built in America, and America is the new promised land. Indians are fine where they are. I visited the Garden of Eden Adam-ondi-Ahman in missouri when I attended Skills USA VICA in high school (my instructors and one team mate were mormon). I didn't think too highly of the religious detour as we were there to compete in engineering and small engines but I learned a lot during my visit - they even had a gift shop with a book of mormon in Tongan - in missouri, that was a trip.

What I find hysterical is that no one here bothered to do any research on Glenn Beck's event, nor did you do any research as to why he's going there.

1. The international community is attempting to setup Israel using a bogus relief fleet for Gaza (this includes the governments of Canada and UK). They are deliberately trying to provoke an incident that they know Israel will have to respond because they don't need another couple thousand rockets fired from Gaza.

2. The UN is going to attempt to create a Palestinian state arbitrarily while making the borders so ridiculous that Israel cannot possibly defend itself (only reason they survived the last time was Israel struck before the other Arab countries got their units across the border into Israel).

3. Glenn is going ahead with his event due to President Obama clearly turning his back on another US ally.


Glenn Beck has chosen to take a stand for our best friend in the region, his rally is to show that there are people in this country that are willing to stand up and say we will never let another Holocaust happen again, not on our watch.

The really funny thing is that his rally proves certain individuals (including at least two who posted in this thread) to have a bad case of Beck Derangement syndrome because if he is publicly taking a stand for the Jewish people, how is he an anti-semite like you claim. I imagine you'll come up with some new load of bull to claim he is an anti-semite and personally attack me again for defending someone whom is being smeared.

Take a look at the two Mormon candidates Huntsman and Romney
both from old Mormon families and the two most moderate republicans running.

So again you smear someone as being an anti-semite for no other reason that it is the latest smear you think will stick, all simply because you disagree with them. I think it is substancially less likely that Glenn is an anti-semite than you being an anti-semite. If you saw his holocaust survivor special to remind people so something like the holocaust never happens again you would know he is not an anti-semite.

5. Hitler wanted to basically kick all the Jews out of Germany or exterminate them, he wanted to send them someplace and if they all got annihilated he'd love it. Quite frankly, I fear for some of my friends because all of the violence going on in the Middle East. I consider Jewish People to be just that same as fellow Christians only there is a disagreement as to whether or not Jesus was the son of God. In my view that is something that God will sort out when people die (preferably from old age).
