This guy seems to think that anyone who isn't a hardcore Christian is a hedonist.

If all atheists were hedonists then there would be far less philosophers.

for a lot of these guys it has to be projection.

There are people who struggle every day with desires that they have learned to condemn as sinful.

Some of those people assume that everyone has the same desires.

Some of those people are preachers.

methinks he doth protest too much.

and what I'm saying here is, a normal person is disgusted by the thought of buggering goats, but some people merely act disgusted by the suggestion of buggering goats, and some of the people for whom it is an act are unable to detect that not everybody is turned on by a goat's posterior.
