Why arn't Humans Angelized in the Media?

I mean, we're pretty amazing, right? We do lots of great stuff and even when we're harming others it's pretty incredible we can do that and still carry on being amazing in so many ways.

No, nobody is good, no not one. But either way, the news outlets thrive on controversy and contrivancy, so having good stories throughout wouldn't "sell" as much as having endless tiresome streams of nothing but bad news, at least in the minds of executives who might need to be stuck in a mental hospital for a few decades.

This. Your average human still has the craving for blood that made gladiatorial combat and public execution so popular.

It's just hidden a little more now.

I get pretty sick of misanthropy, even if I sometimes can't help but feel misanthropic.

Human misbehavior will forever remain a perfectly legitimate reason for misanthropy. Besides, even for me and my misanthropy I am only misanthropic in general and don't really wish anyone in particular any ill will. I just want to get away from mostly everyone on Earth.
