Can you oppose ethically abortion AND homosexual marriage?

I mean at the same time.

If you oppose abortion, then you are probably one of those guys who thinks all of the problems would be solved if the pregnant girl gives the unwanted children to abortion.

Since the adoption market would obviously explode after that, you need to increase the amount of parents willing to adopt children. But banning homosexual marriage will actually decrease that amount. Thus you are creating and expanding a social problem.

BTW, if you think marriage is a union between a man and a woman, could you please explain what a man and a woman are?

I'm pro-life (except for cases where the mother is in danger) and for homosexual marriage. I am a theist, but I don't believe in organized religion.

As for what you said, you are absolutely correct.

Sure. Because ethics vary, morals do not.

I don't know ... I'm neither gay nor a woman, so neither of these topics is really relevant to me.

I'm pro-life too, completely unrelated to abortion as I'm pro-choice but I do tend to prefer being alive as opposed to dying. I think it was Bill Hicks who said "If you're so pro-life, do me a favour: don't lock arms and block medical clinics. If you're so pro-life, lock arms and block cemeteries." I do agree in the genius marketing strategy since nobody is going to say "we'll I'm not pro-life" the correct name should be "Against-choice" or "In favor of the government being able to take over your reproductive rights" but I can see how the former is not good marketing and the second can't fit on a bumper sticker.

Keep in mind that I'm also kind of in favor of selectively breeding our best minds so that we can figure out fusion, make leaps ahead in stem-cell research and finally colonize at least one other planet/moon to better safeguard the survival of the human species. Keep in mind

I'm pro choice, for gay marriage, and I also believe that single people should be allowed to adopt.

And always remember that a personal experience can change one's opinion and point of view.

I also have ten toes, so what's your point?

I am basically an asexual male but I have civil liberties and I'd like all people to do as well, thus I care about it.

You forgot confusion about whether a man and a woman, two men, or two women are going to show up. What about seating arrangements!! ! What if it's two guys and most of the invitees are men? Or vice versa? What about not having to wait in line for the bathroom while the other one stands empty!! !!

(Mr./Mrs./Ms. Literal, I don't how to define it, but it's funny)

I don't agree with calling it "marriage" if there is a state church involved that is part of a country's constitution. However, in a truly secular country, that would not be an issue.

I oppose abortion and support gay marriage. But with a caveat. I don't think abortion should be illegalized, just discouraged and not glorified as a 'choice' or as a protection of women's rights, and I think that while gay marriage should definitely be legally recognized, no question about it, churches shouldn't be forced to recognize it.

Okay, that makes more sense.

Sure, civil liberties for everybody, regardless of ethnicity, sex, physical ability, religion, politics, or gender-tropic status. I can go along with that.
