What a vile traitor!! !!

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0412/75070.html

Quote:
Newt Gingrich has unleashed a blistering attack on Fox News, accusing the network of having “been for Romney all the way through” and even calling CNN “less biased” in comparison.

“I think Fox has been for Romney all the way through,” Gingrich said Wednesday during a meeting with Delaware Tea Party leaders, according to Real Clear Politics, which was given access to the private meeting. “In our experience, Callista and I both believe CNN is less biased than Fox this year. We are more likely to get neutral coverage out of CNN than we are of Fox, and we’re more likely to get distortion out of Fox. That’s just a fact.”

The former House speaker accused News Corporation CEO Rupert Murdoch for perpetuating the network’s slanted coverage of the 2012 race.

“I assume it’s because Murdoch at some point said, ‘I want Romney,’ and so ‘fair and balanced’ became ‘Romney,’” Gingrich said, according to Real Clear Politics. “And there’s no question that Fox had a lot to do with stopping my campaign because such a high percentage of our base watches Fox.”

Gingrich, who himself was previously a Fox contributor, also reportedly referred to himself as the “least establishment candidate since Ronald Regan” that doesn’t care about the opinions of pundits and media figures.

“I don’t go to their cocktail parties. I don’t go to their Christmas parties. The only press events I go to are interesting dinners when the wife insists on it, so we’re going to go to the White House Correspondents’ dinner because she wants to. And we’re actually going to go to CNN’s table, not Fox,” he said.

Whoaaa!! !! Inuyasha must be turning over in his grave!

I'm guessing that Newt won't be going back on Fox's payroll after all. Instead, he'll be picked up either by CNN (and he seemeth to be campaigning for a CNN job right now), or MSNBC, or quite possibly T-Y-T.

lol he's crazy if he didn't think Fox orchestrated his own little fake surge in the polls for the short time he was the "frontrunner".

He's right in the sense tho they wanted Romney the whole time. They just inflated and deflated their flavors of the month to drive ratings or more conspiratorially, insulate Romney from getting destroyed during the primary.

CNN is just as bias however, they're all terrible.

Let's have a group cry for Newt. That's enough.

Drudge was totally in the tank for Romney. Even the right noticed. I don't watch Fox News so I wouldnt know about them. It gives me a headache to catch them lying.

As long as he doesn't step into news that I actually watch, FINE BY ME!

Right now Romney is the least bad choice the Republicans have.

Ron Paul is politically impossible. If it were up to him, our military would be shrunk to a Home Guard.

If the world were a peaceful place (it isn't) and we didn't need a military machine (we do) Ron Paul would be perfect, but the world is not the world in which Ron Paul could function.

He should go to Damascus, and commiserate with Assad who is just the innocent victim of bias by Al Jazeera, and by the Arab league.

Funny, I couldn't find any mention of Newt Gingrich's insulting comments about Fox News anywhere on the Fox News website.

The latest tidbit about Newt is this:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/04 ... nce-check/

Quote:
Utah official: Gingrich campaign bounced $500 primary entrance checkFive Republicans have filed the necessary papers and $500 fee to qualify for the June 26 Utah presidential primary election, but with Rick Santorum dropping out of the race Tuesday, only four will be on the ballot.

Or, make that possibly three.

Newt Gingrich’s check bounced, reports the Salt Lake City Tribune.

Utah Elections Director Mark Thomas said a designated agent for the Gingrich campaign brought the filing papers and a check for $500 in March, but after the check was deposited, the state was notified by the bank that the check had bounced. He said the office has tried to contact the Gingrich campaign through the telephone number and email provided on the application, but have not received a response. Recently, the state sent a certified letter to the campaign, stating that if the fee isn’t paid by April 20, Gingrich will be disqualified and will not be on the ballot.

Now, Fox News is actively and deliberately smearing Mr. Gingrich. His fall from favour was quite precipitous.
