The Muslim woman asked how we fight an ideological war. Do we fight an ideological war with guns?
That's a good question to ask. To me, I think ideology can only be tempered, long term, by reducing ignorance. If you only know one way to live, if you only know one culture, one philosophy, and if your knowledge of people outside your world is given to you with a strong bias, then your beliefs will escalate to the level of ideology. We see enough of that in first world countries, let alone elsewhere.
