Just wanted to point something out to the critics, especially in politics, philosophy, and religious contexts.

I know its fun to say "thats BS" or "you haven't even done this" etc.

But for everyones sake, why not stick to a simple little rule?

The rule is as follows:

"Do not criticise something, unless you can offer a logical reason or argument in its place"

I won't point fingers but heres an example:

"that post is BS, someone needs to read relativity"

This was particularly annoying because I've read relativity, studied it, and I definately understand it, to be told I'm talking BS is a bit ridiculous, I would like to see what I was Bullsh*tting about!

So an event occurs... I know the position, and the time.

The 3 dimensions of space, and 1 dimension of time, are important for determining things yes, but its pretty obvious that time itself is simply a construct for measurement. Without the time factor we simply wouldn't be able to relate it.

Our understanding of reality, does not create reality in my opinion. If it does in yours that is fine, but offer some logical proof for telling me what I say is BS, don't just offer little insults then disappear.

It is quite insulting to the purpose of a forum.

Rant over.

Yeah I agree. And something that really irritates me is people who reply to a topic asking a specific question (eg: what are the symptoms of AS?) with something like 'I'm not sure' or 'I don't know'. Nobody is interested if you don't know, a specific question was being asked and if you can't answer it then why the hell would you bother wasting the time to say you can't. I seriously think some people will do anything to raise their post count.

No, when we run out of arguments I need to attack the arguer over the topic.. I dont plan on being different from normal people I discuss things with what makes you think I'll change for you?

(I'm demonstrating sarcasm here)

I would always prefer someone argue me
