Harbinger movie (debunking?)

Just thinking about this long 2 hour movie my mom wants me to see. I have seen clips on YouTube. It does link together some interesting things from history but some things about it bother me and make me not want to waste 2 hours on it.

For one thing the entire piece is just put together by one guy. No guest speakers or peer review which is something I normally look for in documentaries. Also a key piece of information is supposedly a prayer from George Washington for protection of the new nation. This seems to be very questionable. I found a link that seems to debunk this and a general mythology built around George Washington if anyone wants to glance at it:

This is a major part of the movie's idea, that God's protections referenced in this prayer are being withdrawn and allowed 9-11 to happen. Kind of a parallel to the book of Isaiah where God let's Israel be invaded. The prayer is also said to have occured in St. Paul's chapel near by Ground Zero in NYC.

So with that, I'm just curious if anyone else is familiar with this film or had any thoughts on it.

Otherwise, the decision I have is whether to be a mean debunker and spoil the movie for my mom. :? Or indulge by watching it and discussing it at face value.

The U.S. has become a successful nation through the exploitation of our natural resources and the abuse of the aboriginal native peoples and other racial groups. In the 19th century Americans killed Injuns and enslaved Negroes. Was God watching and approving while we did this sort of thing?
