Didn't know where to put this, in politics or music.
This is the best they can do for "the youth vote?" Creed, Lynard Skynard (do they have any original members alive?), and Kid Rock?
This is too easy to make fun of...GO!! !

I will not make fun of anyone based on their political leanings. He has the right to choose not to vote for President Obama, just as he would have the right to vote for him. I tend to not focus on who's voting for who when making my decision. I will select the candidate who can possesses the best leadership skills and who has the best policy for the economy, healthcare, defense, etc. Just for the record, I dislike all the choices so far. I am not too informed about the candidates for other parties (the Socialist Party USA, Communist Party of the United States, Libertarians, Constitution Party, the Green Party, etc.). It is unfortunate these parties don't get the attention and publicity the Republicans and Democrats get (I know it's because they are small parties and do not have the money or support from the public. I would even like to see an RPGamers' party in which candidates dress up like their character in D&D or like the Emperor's Children noise marines.

It is the way of the uneducated to mock someone for not agreeing with his/her views.

I don't give two flying f***s who celebrities vote for.

I f*****g hate celebrities, they are like gods to some liberals.

They make as much money as the big evil corporations but does anyone ever complain?

People need to stop following the leader and make an informed decision.

Hell, I heard someone say he was going to vote for Obama because he knows Obama will find Bin Laden.

WILL FIND. He didn't even know Bin laden was dead.

, Taverson, I'm sure you're such an Apollonian personality you never ever in your life made fun of a public figure-even one as much as a hypocrite as Stapp.
For those that don't know Stapp is a professional Born Again Christian who nevertheless keeps on appearing in sex tapes (Ick) and keeps on being arrested for assault. His band Creed also was voted the second most hated band of all time by Rolling Stone.
He was also once arrested for domestic abuse, but his wife dropped the charges.

And equally some conservatives- celeb worship is not a politically divisive issue.

I wouldn't say equal actually.

Hollywood and the mainstream media is mostly liberal.

All conservatives have is talk radio.

Actually, this is one of the reasons I'm voting for him. I hate to be disappointed. :P

Whenever someone talks of 'decadence' disapprovingly, chances are they're fascist.

Crap music and a f*****g awful voice.

Interesting comment I saw elsewhere -

"The lead singer of Creed has said that he won't vote for Obama. So that means he won't win the 1996 election..."

And this is news because...?

Anyone who lived through the late '90s and early '00s onslaught of delusional Messianic posing and radio-friendly "Pearl Jam Lite" tripe that comprised Creed's entire act circa Human Clay probably could have inferred this anyway. That is, if they cared to remember him long enough to consider how he was voting.

To be fair, I don't begrudge him his political or religious leanings. I begrudge him his crap music.

By the way, MagicToenail, since you were listing off conservative artists, I think it's fair to point out that you forgot to mention the headlining act among the Fox News house entertainment: Ted Nugent.

I liked Creed. I thought they were a lot more musical than all that grunge garbage that preceded them. If you disagree, then my condolences, but whatever...

My question is this: Just because I happen to like Scott Stapp, why should I care about his political leanings? If he's not voting for Obama, so what? Neither am I. W00h00!! !

Someone mentioned Ted Nugent. I always enjoyed his guitar playing, and I think it's cool that he is one of the few brave souls in the business who isn't afraid to be an outspoken conservative. I also think I'd enjoy hanging out with the guy, not just to talk shop and maybe SOME politics (I'm not really that into politics), but also to see if maybe I could get some good bowhunting advice. The world needs more polymaths like Nugent. ;)

You're voting MORMON?!?!?!?!?!? Be sure to buy the magic underwear before the end of the month. Next year, make the pilgrimage to Salt Lake City.

Don't think of it as voting Mormon. More like voting against atheist-Muslim-communist.

I think Mitt Zombie is just a better candidate and would do a better job than Obummer. I just think that the Republican party is scraping the bottom of the barrel if that's the best we can come up with. On the other hand, I was impressed with Zombie's performance at the debate.

I am curious about those magic undies. When I go walking as of late, the seams in my FOTL's give me some serious chafing about halfway through my 5-mile walk. I've gotten some relief by wearing compression shorts while on the treadmill, but that would be awkward out in public. I need something that is comfortable, moves WITH me, breathes, and does a better job of soaking up sweat and keeping me dry, preferably without me having to change clothes after my walk. If Mormon undies would help, I'm all for it. Do you think that would work? Do you think they'd supply to non-LDS?

Remember: although Mormons do accept Jesus, they maintain incorrect ideas concerning Jesus, and are consequently going to Hell.

Voting for a Mormon president will only encourage them, and bring us closer to becoming a Mormon country.
