Way back when Mormonism first got started, American Christians kicked the Mormons clear out of the country. They had to go and hide in the Mexican desert.

A few years later, the American Christians kicked Mexico's ass in the Mexican-American War, and the Mormons found themselves living in America again.

After our little civil war, American Christians decided to persecute Mormons once again--ostensibly over the polygamy issue. Once again, Mormons went away to hide out in Mexico.

Mitt Romney's father was born in a polygamous Mormon family in Mexico, migrated to America and became Michigan's first Mormon governor. And now, Mitt Romney is poised to become America's first Mormon president. Mormons are actively recruiting throughout the world, and outbreeding everyone else. They have been especially active in the South Pacific, where some countries are now at least close to have a majority Mormon population.

So, what do ye make of this? Are the Christians wrong, and is God really a Mormon? Does God want America to become a Mormon nation?

I can't respond to the poll. Whether I think god wants America to be Mormon and who I am going to vote for are non-related questions.

No. America is not supposed to be Mormon.
I haven't decided who to vote for yet.

It is tragic that there seems to be such a strong religous component to your elections.

God wants romney to become president so that we can modify our immigration laws so only females enter the nation, and so that all male illegales will be swiftly deported( but the females remain). That way -within a few years we will have hugely more marriageable females than males.
Thereby turning the whole USA into one enormous Coloroda City- and a polygomos paradise!

I went to a potluck at the Mormon church on Monday, before we could eat, the bishop asked how many of us were registered to vote. He then pulled out a roll of stamps and some envelopes and offered to register anyone on the spot. He was careful enough not to officially endorse brother Romney.

I've never seen an actual registration drive t church before, they mean business.

Not exactly.

They deviate from normal christianity enough (principly by adding a whole third book to the bible) that they are not regarded by the rest of Chirstendom ( or even by nonchristians) as "just another christian sect". theyre put in a class by themselves.

Maybe not a Mormon nation, but possibly have a Mormon president.

Actually, they don't consider the Book of Mormon to be apart of the Bible. They consider them to be two separate books, just of equal importance.

People will always blame Mormonism for what the fringe does. Polygamy is not accepted in the LDS, only the FLDS which is not considered to be apart of the overwhelming majority of Mormons.

FLDS and the Mountain Meadows Massacre = people not apart of the church.
