DNA exonerated these people and another person confessed. This will go over well with blacks he is trying to woo (SMH)

He is not actually trying to woo black voters, so lowering his estimation with that demographic is not a problem for him.

What is more disturbing to me is that this almost certainly won't lower his estimation in the minds of his white fans. I find it hard to imagine how they justify continued support in the face of this indifference to fairness, justice and rule of law.

How a person reconciles supporting that and still maintains any sense of personal integrity or honor is baffling to me.
