I'm no big fan of Christianity, but why did you have to go and post a video by Lewis Black Jr. ?

The guy has the same grating rough voice that belongs to the usual irrational hatemonger - you know, the kind who you wouldn't want to let your kids get near. The creepy uncle type who rants about things constantly with his own personal spin on them designed to make YOU feel like the idiot. The type who rants against something (example: blessing food) which harms nobody, and turns it into a slam against farmers. Is that really necessary?

Besides, we know that if God created life, God also created evolution. Therefore, denying evolution is somewhat self-defeating.

That guy isn't Lewis Black. What does Lewis Black hafta do with it?

I wish he were Lewis Black because Lewis Black is funnier than this guy.

(I just stumbled upon the OP video myself. I agree that he does go a bit over board on ridiculing 'blessings' IMHO. )

Most of this kind of stuff seems to be produced by disgruntled ex-christians. Who probably didn't understand christianity correctly to begin with.

There's no such thing as understanding Christianity correctly, because there are many hugely different understandings of it. Each one is incorrect according to all the others

Most denominations follow the same core doctrine and then argue over what they call secondary issues.

You clearly have no experience in church politics.

Can we just stop the easy mockery of people based on their deeply held beliefs and just mock their dangerous actions.

Probably not, which is why I haven't gotten into it for the wrong reasons and then become disgruntled with it when it didn't work out right for me.
