I have question about Godwin Law, if i cannot compare someone or something to Hitler, so can compare to Stalin instead :D

And more serious, why not compare very evil people to Hitler if they omitted hideous crimes for example?

It's mostly that comparing people to Hitler is usually fallacious.

"You're a vegetarian? So was Hitler. You must support the Holocaust."
"You don't think Israel is right to attack Palestine on occasion? Hitler would have been against a Jewish state too!"
"Oh, you're a socialist? So were the National SOCIALISTS."

Israel never attacks 'Palestine' unprovoked. Any measures are usually taken because of rooting out terrorists that have attacked Israeli civilians.

Is it fallacious to equate people who support the stated aims of Hamas with Nazism? I don't think so.

Israel drives the violence. As Dayan put it "The Palestinians may not want us so we will force ourselves upon them...They have a choice. They can live like dogs or they can leave".

Can you provide a source for that, or are you lying again.

What Moshe did say about the Palestinians was:

"We don't have a solution, and you will continue living like dogs, and whoever wants will go, and will see how this procedure will work out. For now, it works out. Let's say the truth. We want peace. If there is no peace, we will maintain military rule and we will have four to five military compounds on the mountains, and they will sit ten years under the Israeli military regime."

Before that he made the rape analogy... Dayan compared what his country was doing to rape. The "live like dogs" comment expresses an ethnic cleansing policy.

He said "The situation between us is like the complex relationship between a Bedouin man and the young girl he has taken against her wishes. But when their children are born, they will see the man as their father and the woman as their mother. The initial act will mean nothing to them. You, the Palestinians, as a nation, do not want us today, but we will change your attitude by imposing our presence upon you."

I find that highly unlikely. Certainly I don't know how you can know who breaks each individual ceasefire given that nobody else does.

Quote:

It is fallacious to say that anyone who thinks that maybe Israel sometimes overreacts or attacks civilians when it needn't is "supporting the stated aims of Hamas".

I don't think the Vietnam War was justified, nor the Second Gulf War (by which I mean the recent invasion of Iraq). Does that mean I support the aims of al-Qaeda, who are also against the USA and the UK? No, of course not.
