Maybe I have personality issues beyond the scope of AS, anxieties, depression, but it seems like there could be better chosen words to describe the dialogue, debating and discourse of PPR than to use the specific word "attack", so blatantly. It kinda seems like encouraging hostilities. Dont we have enough emotional trauma in our lives just existing as aspies?

Or maybe it is just me. Maybe I am more emotionally fragile and vulnerable than others?

Okay thank you. Maybe I was just expecting a community of like minded people to be more considerate of each others feelings, but I guess aspies can be just as deliberately brutal as any other humanoid on the blue dot.

Other sections are kinder and gentler.

What made you think that everyone here was going to be like minded? We share a neurological condition, not a set of beliefs and values.

No, I just like them a lot. Besides which, I'm not sure you can have an allegiance to an inanimate object.

I dont think the government has any power to alter any belief I have. They may have some influence on how I express a belief, but they cannot stop me from believing anything I wish.

I find a bit confusing what the objective of this thread, it implies it is going to be about the rules of PPR, rather than specific political issues.

I don't think that word means what you think it means, I believe the word you're actually looking for is "attachment", as in "people have a strong attachment to their guns". I have an attachment to my .45, I didn't make a deal with it that I'd never give it up so long as it functioned properly and didn't try to shoot me in my sleep.

So you bemoan hostility in PPR while contributing to it yourself with condescending elitism. On top of that, you bring up guns out of nowhere and turn this topic into a sorry ass excuse for soapboxing. What a punk move.

Hahaha I bet they're the same people who think they're infallible to stereotyping because they're "Real aspies". It's funny how living up to the lofty ideal of a "Real aspie" has more to do with being a hipster douchebag than the accuracy of the DSM criteria.

You do understand symbolism, right? That people aren't pledging allegiance to the physical flag itself, but to the nation behind it?

Symbolism or not, its still rather pointless........I don't feel I need to pledge allegiance to a chunk of land but too each their own I suppose.
