Why did you fall for the bait that the word "God" has a meaningful definition in the first place?

What do you think the word "God" means?

What's your Visa number, the expiration and the little numbers on the back? Also whats the name on the card?

;-)

I wouldn't really do that. Both of my daughters are agnostic as is my older daughters fiancé. My youngest son is a complete and total atheist. He insists there is nothing at all out there, that this life is it. But he's not rude about other's religions. He will even go to church if he's at a friends house overnight and their habit is to go the next morning. He always goes with his grandmother when she asks him to. He will tell my mother he doesn't believe in any god at all but he tells my mother in law that he's Christian. I think that's because he doesn't want to hear her yammering about it for days and it's just easier. But when he's down there and she is able to go to church, he actually wants to go with her because it makes her happy and it's not that much trouble for him.

It's a damn shame that others don't respect his right to his beliefs as much as he respects theirs, and he's only 18.
