"He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus – to establish the religion and not be divided therein. Difficult for those who associate others with Allah is that to which you invite them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him]. "Chapter 42, Verse 13

"Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them – out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account." Chapter 3, Verse 19

"He is God; there is no god but He, He is the Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is the All-Merciful, the All-Compassionate. He is God, there is no God but He. He is the King, the All-Holy, the All-Peace, the Guardian of Faith, the All-Preserver, the All-Mighty, the All-Compeller, the All-Sublime. Glory be to God, above that they associate! He is God the Creator, the Maker, the Shaper. To Him belong the Names Most Beautiful. All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies Him; He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise." (59:22-24)

"There is no god but He, the Living, the Everlasting. Slumber seizes Him not, neither sleep; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who is there that shall intercede with Him save by His leave? He knows what lies before them and what is after them, and they comprehend not anything of His knowledge save such as He wills. His throne comprises the heavens and earth; the preserving of them oppresses Him not; He is the All-High, the All-Glorious." (2:255)

"People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, 'Three.' Refrain; better is it for you. God is only one God. Glory be to Him - (He is) above having a son." (4:171)

"And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing." Chapter 36, Verse 78-79

"And whoever desires other than Islam as religion – never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers." Chapter 3, Verse 85

"Do they associate with Him those who create nothing and they are [themselves] created? And the false deities are unable to [give] them help, nor can they help themselves. And if you [believers] invite them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is all the same for you whether you invite them or you are silent. Indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides Allah are servants like you. So call upon them and let them respond to you, if you should be truthful. Do they have feet by which they walk? Or do they have hands by which they strike? Or do they have eyes by which they see? Or do they have ears by which they hear? Say, [O Muhammad], "Call your 'partners' and then conspire against me and give me no respite. Indeed, my protector is Allah, who has sent down the Book; and He is an ally to the righteous. And those you call upon besides Him are unable to help you, nor can they help themselves." Chapter 7, Verses 191-197

Several of those verses present those who do not adhere to Islam as inferior individuals.

Since when are disparaging remarks about others beautiful?

I didn't intend any disparaging remarks on anyone.

I am merely passing the word of Allah to all. So read it again and again and again. Then think for yourself.

I'll tell you what is beautiful: Believing in Allah

Everything else is a illusion to our senses.

You are merely passing along the words of a man who took an eight-year old girl as a wife - thus, Mohammed was a pedophile.

Qur'an 9:123 - "Murder them and treat them harshly"

Qur'an 4:89 - They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.

Qur'an 8:12 cp. 8:60 - "Instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers"; "smite above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them"

Qur'an 2:191 - "...kill the disbelievers wherever we find them"

Qur'an 9:33 - He it is Who sent His Apostle with guidance and the religion of truth, that He might cause it to prevail over all religions.

Qur'an 22:19-22 - "fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem" "for them (the unbelievers) garments of fire shall be cut and there shall be poured over their heads boiling water whereby whatever is in their bowels and skin shall be dissolved and they will be punished with hooked iron rods"

Qur'an 8:7 - "Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: ‘Wipe the infidels out to the last.'"

Qur'an 8:39 - "So, fight them till all opposition ends and the only religion is Islam."

Qur'an 8:59 - "The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. They are your enemy and Allah's enemy."

Qur'an 8:60 - "Prepare against them (non-Muslims) whatever arms and cavalry you can muster that you may strike terror in the enemies of Allah (non-Muslims), and others besides them not known to you. Whatever you spend in Allah's Cause will be repaid in full, and no wrong will be done to you."

Qur'an 8:7 - "Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: 'Wipe the infidels (non-Muslims) out to the last.'"

Qur'an 9:29 - Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.

Qur'an 47:4 - "Strike off the heads of the disbelievers"; and after making a "wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives."

Such is the lie that is Islam, the so-called "Religion of Beauty".

Read it again and again and again. Then think for yourself.

HONOURING PARENTS:
"And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him and in years twain was his weaning: (Hear the command) "Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal." (31:14)

LIFE IS PRECIOUS:
"If any one kills a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people." (5:32)

UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD:
The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy.

O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.

O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it... But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. (49:10-13)

"The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another." (9:71)

JUSTICE:
"O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah as witnesses to fair dealings and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just, that is next to piety. Fear Allah, indeed Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do." (5:8)

"O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even if it be against yourselves, your parents, and your relatives, or whether it is against the rich or the poor..."(4:135)

"Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (to others) and the giving to the kindred, and He forbids indecency and evil and rebellion; He admonishes you that you may be mindful." (16:90)

"And O my people! give just measure and weight, nor withhold from the people the things that are their due: commit not evil in the land with intent to do mischief." (11:85)

"To orphans restore their property (When they reach their age), nor substitute (your) worthless things for (their) good ones; and devour not their substance (by mixing it up) with your own. For this is indeed a great sin." (4:2)

CHARITY:
"They give food, out of love for Him (Allah), to the poor, the orphan, and the slave, saying: We feed you only for Allah's pleasure - we desire from you neither reward nor thanks." (76:8-9)

"O ye who believe, spend from what you (lawfully) earned." (2:267)

"By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you give (freely as a charity) from that which you love; and whatever you spend Allah knows it well." (3:92)

"So give what is due to kindred, the needy, and the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek the Countenance, of Allah, and it is they who will prosper." (30:38)

FAMILY:
"Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you. Verily the killing of them is a great sin." (17:31)

"And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect." (30:21)


MAKING PEACE:
"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that hears and knows (all things)." (8:61)

"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error." (2:256)

"And make not Allah's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One Who hears and knows all things." (2:224)

"And make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction." (2:195)

These verses were revealed at a time of persecution and oppression toward the believers during the Prophet's days. You must understand the tafseer (real meaning) behind those verses and their relation to who they are directed to. Muslims are prohibited from inciting violence unless it is for self defense.. We aren't allowed to kill people for their beliefs and so on. Unless they kill and rape our women and children. That's what was happening during the time of the Prophets days. So Allah revealed these verses granting them permission to start a war with them.

Are you telling me you wouldn't defend yourself against oppressors? What would you do Fnord? Would you stand on the stand lines while your family members are being brutally raped and killed?

Just to remind all that the Q'ran is the written down version of the ravings of Mohammed who claimed the Angel Grabriel (Gavrill) spoke to him and told him to recite. We have Mohammed's word on an unwitnessed conversation.

How many people do you know personally who have been visited by the Angel Gabriel and told to recite?

Do you actually think that Buddhism is the fast growing religion? You really need to check your sources MissLizard.

Christianity is still the largest, so your religion is still a loser

As for rate of growth, what about secularism as well? If secularism is on the rise and going faster than any religion, what would your opinion of secularism be then? Would you be consistent and say that secularism would be more legit than Islam or would you just contradict yourself and resort to special pleading?

Also, why now and not always? And how do you know Islam won't start to dwindle later on?

Either way, could care less about whether Islam is the fastest growing religion or not, because this isn't something impressive.

What I do want to address is your claim about scientific miracles and historical predictions in the Qur'an. Let's see them please.

Just put a small list so we can discuss them. Don't start copy/pasting long lists, otherwise I'll start doing the same.
