Dealing with Frustrating things, Right and Left
I have come up with a rather concise phrase to describe a lot of the irritation I have to suffer on a nearly daily basis: becoming frustrated only invites further frustration to occur.
The bad part is, the frustrating things don't start after I've already become frustrated, but they are the CAUSE of my frustration, which in turn causes more frustrating things to occur, which only increases my frustration, ad nauseum.
It's not enough to try to avoid this irritating "vicious circle". It's often literally "forced down my throat". The only way I could completely eliminate all sources of frustration would be to throw my PC, PSP and cell phone away, and not subject myself to any further "electronic torment".
But, for all the misery these devices put me through, there are plenty of pleasant experiences, as well--such as when I managed to squeak out a hard-fought victory against a game opponent in a wrestling/sports game, or when I view a funny video on Youtube, or when I get a phone call from an old friend/relative.
