I think it proves that in nature, even animals rail against unfair treatment. The monkey on the left was happy as long as he was getting the same food as his fellow test subject. It wasn't until his neighbour got preferential treatment for completing the same task that obstructive behaviour ensued.

Then they expect human beings to operate under comparitive conditions.

Maybe socialism isn't as 'unnatural' as these lolbertarians want you to think.

The same sort of behaviour is exhibited by dogs. We used to have two dogs and if a treat was given to one dog the other expected a treat too and became quite upset if one wasn't forthcoming. They can also do limited counting or comparison of treats too and deem a small treat as inadequate compared to a larger treat given to another dog.

Dogs are also pretty smart, especially Weimaraners. Not as bright as simians though.

I like how the monkey throws the food back as if to display contempt.
