I was thinking about elections and politics.
Is anyone interested in political activism or even aspire public office of any kind in your country?

I used to be interested in politics.

After seeing it for a few years, I've lost my taste for it.

I suppose if a friend wanted to run for office, that would be one thing, but I really could not care less about any one person who wants to run for office. I don't see them really making a difference for anyone except themselves and the people who contribute heavily to their campaigns.

I like to read about politics but I am afraid if I were to allow myself to become involved in political activism I would very quickly develop a serious fetishism for Goth and guns, neither of which could result in anything positive. I do detest guns but the Goth realm is so far out in the planetary horizon that even the cling of a nose ring chain in walmart makes my eye twitch.
