These would be illegal in a civilized nation, but I will disengage quickly because I know the progun members are going to ignore the content and ethics of the issue and attack the terminology used in the article.

Perhaps the stupidest article ever posted here, and that's saying something. The article seems to think that the RIP round is "certain death", when in fact frangible rounds have been around forever, and this one doesn't even work:

Conventional hollow-points do far more damage, and are used by the police because they penetrate less than FMJ bullets, reducing the risk of injury to bystanders.

Really, you shouldn't believe every junk article that happens to support your point of view, it makes you look like you don't know what you're talking about...

"Soon they?ll be able to buy these bullets that tear people apart from the inside."

they've been out for a while now. I don't see how effective they are and knew they choose poor name. I'll stick with my current load.

is it more deadly then any other bullet, probably not.

Definitely not, they don't penetrate very well, and penetration is what makes bullets deadly in a handgun. The video I posted demonstrates pretty conclusively that they're actually less deadly than many conventional loads, and incredibly overpriced too.

Im sure that back when the Geco B.A.T. (Blitz Action Trauma) round was introduced the anti-gunners swore the streets would run red with blood.
And again when the Glaser Safety Slug was introduced.
And of course again when the Winchester Black Talon, later known as Ranger SXT, which I carry in my handguns.
I'm sure civilization will survive this new G2 R.I.P. round. R.I.P.??? You've gotta be f*cking kidding me. :lmao:
Just at a quick glance it doesn't look confidence inspiring to me.
I'm seeing potential semi-auto feeding issues with that not-so-streamlined profile.
Probably inconsistent or poor penetration when winter clothing has to be penetrated for the crazy looking thing to do as advertised, which it may or may not do anyway.
I won't be rushing to buy any of those when what I'm carrying now are probably better and have a track record of good performance.

Posting a sensationalized article with no intention of taking part in any subsequent discussion and announcing in advance that you know how "progun members" will react (incorrectly, in your opinion) is just another way of injecting a personal attack on WP's gun owners - for which you've already been warned several times.
