Problem resolved but what would be justification? Neighbor complaints? Ignorance, people thinking it was a Tibetan national flag and taking offense? Or people knowing it is a religious flag and demanding it be taken down for that reason.

anyway issue resolved, but why does something like this take place to begin with?

They would probably tell people to remove the pink flamingos.Some places are strict about what you have in the yard.There is a funny X-Files episode on it.

Some varieties of bamboo can be invasive.If it gets in your neighbors yard they may not like it.
There are clumping varieties that don't spread.

if its against the charter you CHOOSE to sign then you cant have it in your yard its as simple as that
dont like it move somewhere else, if you predate the associations forming then they have no power over you


I personally would never move wheres theres a HOA it just seems like a place for as*holes with too much time on their hands to boss people around

If the neighborhood associaction wants them down then he should take them down. --And then promptly seed his yard with dandelions.

I would seed mine with some sort of sticker plant,keeps those pesky neighborhood kids off the lawn.

The video shows that his "prayer flags" look like carnival flags. So, I can see neighbors complaining to the home owner's association.

HOAs can be really anal, I've live in a subdivision like that and hated it. I can understand why you might want to if it was like a dangerous area or something but a lot of them are out in these landfills like that XFiles episode.
