But then I grew up in Indianapolis which is a bit more liberal then moved to the more conservative areas of the state. You could see how that could mess with my mind.
I was born and raised in Indiana also, just north of Indianapolis but now live close to Ft Wayne and this is a rabidly Conservative area. Former Governor Daniels, now running Purdue University, actually bans books in a college library. That is serious backwoods.
