This is a question for Muslims.

Please answer the following first

http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt268210.html

This question concerns the school of thought based on Apostasy rulings.

Obviously if you are not Muslim you can select "I am not a Muslim" as you won't be able to see there results otherwise.

I define Apostasy as purposely leaving and rejecting the Islamic faith that is the definition that should be used when answering this question.

I cannot include other definitions for the purposes of this survey such as like mocking god, worshiping idols, syncretism, and anything else willfully harmful to the faith. I cover this under blasphemy/heresy which will NOT form part of the answers to this specific question.

If you are a Muslim and you do NOT believe that Apostasy shall ever result in death sentence please select that option, otherwise pick one of the other answers.

The answers are predominantly based on Islamic schools of thought.

There are only a handful of Muslims who frequent this forum. Would these questions be better asked somewhere where there are more?

You are probably right. However this is food for thought for those handful. These are the sort to things that should be considered for the faithful.

Some may have thought of it, some may have given it no thought before.
